Eyewear Fitting Consultant
Julia has been an Eyewear Fitting Consultant in the optical industry for over 6 years. She loves seeing the smile on a client’s face when she assists them to find the perfect frame.
Julia has literally seen thousands of glasses, as she is responsible for hand selecting all the eyewear in our store. In her spare time, Julia loves walking her little dog along the beach.
Eyewear Fitting Consultant and Spectacle Maker
Shirley has worked as an Eyewear Fitting Consultant and Spectacle Maker since 1989. She enjoys the challenge of a tricky spectacle frame adjustment or repair and finds it very satisfying when client’s glasses fit them comfortably.
When not at work, Shirley enjoys getting involved in her children’s local school community.
Louise graduated from Bradford University 1985 and became a member of the British College of Optometrists 1986. She worked in private practice in UK specializing in contact lenses until 1991 when she moved to Melbourne.
Louise started working at Bayside Eyecare in 2009, where she continues to enjoy contact lens work and finds working as an optometrist with such a professional team very rewarding. Louise is married with 3 children. Hobbies include bush walking, camping and music.
David graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1981 and is a highly experienced optometrist who has practised in the CBD for many years. David spent his school days in Bayside and has lived in the area almost continually since. Outside of his clinical work David has served on Medicare committees and as a consultant for private health insurer Bupa. In his spare time he is a tour guide at the MCG and has a longstanding involvement in local amateur football.
